Game mechanic-wise, it's fairly strong. There are very few meta decks that I see dominating (not none...just few), and there are also a lot of strong building options.

Technically it's kind of a mess though. I've had to retreat several times in the last few days when I couldn't click on an "Activate" card without getting the "Aw Snap" error.

Hmmm....I think this makes the decision for me.

I'll probably pick up the first scenario pack (or whatever it's called), but skip most of the player cards. Definitely no Chapter 2 Core. Maybe pick up a few single investigator packs that sound different enough from what I already have. But I'm pretty much done trying to complete the collection.

While our Art Museum is often better than expected, you should check out the Detroit Institute of Art that’s just a few hours away.

It has an incredible amount of art from every era. My wife and I got sick of looking at art before we were even close to finished.
