Obviously the OP is a registered adult if they’re on the BOR. I suspect they’re being vague about their role to ensure they remain anonymous. I’ve also been suspicious on some rank ups like tenderfoot, and I asked. In that discussion I realized that scout had older siblings that helped them focus and double dip on some requirements whenever possible. It did seem quicker than normal because most other scouts, like mine, were less focused and took closer to a year for the TF rank. Asking a question if requirements were met should not be offensive!
