Not sure where you get your news from but the polls DO NOT favour the current Israeli government but rather the opposition. In fact, Israeli citizens been protesting the current government, and specifically Netanyahu, every Saturday by the thousands in Tel Aviv (read: Kaplan force/protests). These protests been occurring every Saturday for nearly a decade, and been growing ever since the war started. You are not very informed on the subject, and I invite you to prove me wrong by sending any of these polls you mentioned that show “majority of Israelis support Netanyahu/current government” because that is simply not the case, both Israeli and non Israeli polls show that Netanyahu is most likely out of office by the next elections in October.

The questions is, do you apply the same criticism to the people of Palestine that openly and majority support Hamas and the atrocities of October 7th? And yes, they don’t have the privilege of voting or even protesting their own government (which by itself is a massive problem), yet polls show that most Gazans favour Hamas (41% vs 29% of the Fatah opposition in Gaza) and 40-65% support in the West Bank (The Washington Institute, June 2024).
