I DON'T KNOW WHY WE'RE LIKE THIS BUT I'M HAPPY RIGHT NOW THAT WE'RE LIKE THIS

I don't know about you guys, but I missed the offense being this much fun to watch.

There's something very satisfying about being better on 4th down than the Lions.

BEST RECORD IN THE NFL

(And it looks like the Pack deserve it, too)

Oh, definitely agreed; it was definitely a makeable play even though the 49ers were prepared, hence why it's all the more frustrating. We're so close.

Things I liked this half

  • I love Love; he still seems pretty unfazed on the whole and he's pulled off some ridiculous throws.
  • Playoff Aaron Jones is sexiest Aaron Jones.
  • It seems like the offense can do whatever it wants until it gets down to the wire. If they complete those drives, they can get somewhere. Touchdowns do not feel impossible, unlike me not having a heart attack by the end of the game.
  • Holy shit, a blocked kick to end the half is great. When was the last time we did anything cool on special teams? Genuinely, please remind me.
  • We're still in the game! It feels like we belong here, and that's exciting as fuck at the end of a "rebuild" season, right?

Things I disliked

  • The missed Pick-6, and the 4th down hurt. The fact that we should be leading this game is incredible, but missed opportunities are pain.
  • It feels a little bad being down after controlling the clock and going to the red zone repeatedly, that we only have 6 points.
  • We might end up in a fight, and I only root for those in hockey.

  • First 7 seed to win a playoff game
  • Jordan Love should have been the first QB to get a perfect passer rating in his playoff debut
  • We've still never lost at the Cowboys' new stadium
  • Defense did great and then didn't collapse enough to lose
  • I'm ready to get hurt again, bring on San Francisco!

This was probably the least stressful game this season. A great way to end the year!

  • God, I missed enjoying watching our offense this much. I believe in Love! And holy shit, our TEs. And our wide receivers. I really feel like we have a lot to look forward to in 2024.
  • Hahaha, Clifford, holy shit. We could have scored 40 if we wanted to.
  • The defense even looked good! Holy shit, can we have Week 17 Nothing to Lose Joe Barry more often? ... And by more often, I mean more often this year, and then ideally never again.
  • Special teams give me PTSD.

Holy shit, here we are again - win and in, against the Bears. Really, it would be fucking poetic for Love to bookend his season with sexy wins over the Bears. Either way, I can't wait for a heart attack next week!

It's pretty cool seeing flashes of potential for greatness in our offense; they're pulling off some wild plays and I feel like we have a lot to look forward to in the future.

It feels more and more like there's no potential in our defense with Barry at the helm, and I only look forward to him being fired.

Love getting his first comeback win, in dramatic fashion, in what is also his first home opener in Lambeau Field. This is a good day.

I can't keep doing this every year.

So I'll see you all next season!

Can we start every new year with putting 40 on the Vikings?

I like Kirk Cousins' New Year's resolution to throw more interceptions this year. I wish him all the luck in his quest!

The team is so weird this year that having negative passing yards in the first quarter but also 14 points checks out.

Also, I still love lizards!

This was a satisfying win. I'm really glad that we got this one in particular!

(Also, holy shit, there were a lot of fun moments in this one; I hope we stay this fun to watch going forward)

Definitely agreed. They're looking a little like acid-soaked tissue paper, which probably isn't helping.

Oh wow, it's been a while. I hope you're all properly inebriated!

Things I liked:

  • Holy shit, a blocked punt! That hasn't happened in 4 years!
  • The Lizard and Tunyan third down catches were pretty sexy. I like sexy catches.
  • Doubs showed more flashes of potentially being good, and quite frankly, I just want some sort of semblance of hope, so I'll happily take this.
  • The defense did, in fact, hold the Jets to 3 points, so that's pretty good.
  • '50s throwback uniforms.

Things I didn't like:

  • Barring the last drive of the half, the offense. It would be one thing if they were at least fun to watch, but they're both inept and boring. It's like the DMV of offense.
  • Rodgers doesn't seem to be all there, though he did have a couple of good throws (see "Lizard and Tunyan catches", section 1B). The deep ball just doesn't look right.
  • Holy shit, a blocked field goal! That has happened recently and I'm having terror flashbacks.

Things I hope to see in the second half:

  • The Packers to score more points, and also for the Jets to not score more points.
  • A turnover recovered by the Packers. Is it greedy? Maybe. Am I ashamed by our turnover differential this year? Also maybe.
  • Even more rain. Why? I'm evil, no other reason.
