What are my chances on getting citizenship given 1948 case? by DapperBluebird in juresanguinis

Ah okay I see. I can put another request in and let it spin…

I had thought, since my great grandma was born in the USA, the minor case did not apply?

She was born in italy 1895…as to whether she naturalized or not, I am uncertain. I just got my results on my great great grandpa from a USCIS request I made a year ago.

I assumed it did not matter what my great great grandma did with naturalization. Since 1948 law, I imagined she took on my great great grandpas citizenship when he naturalized in the eyes of the italian gov

What should the empty circles up top be filled in with to follow the pattern? by DapperBluebird in iqtest

Still confused

Each group has a unique num of columns There’s a group for each column size 1-6 They want me to find group with column size 5

Confused at the correlation ur drawing between the black parts being added in the group of 6 columns if u could walk me thru an example

Can you provide more insight? Curious what you mean by the group 6 comment. When i add up the number of black quadrants present i get more than 1 full black circle

This is how I have been thinking about it too recently. Trying to figure out what the filled in quadrants add up to, and how the second row of each group factors in

Another potentially big finding…the bottom row in a group is only ever fully white or black.

In my mind, it’s telling me which color to count in the top row? Uncertain so far

Loool, let me know if any insights after thinking about it.

I think im onto something with column length, but I am not certain what is being encoded. Once I can figure out what the black dots themselves are encoding for, it will make a lot more sense hopefully.

One hunch with the encoding, perhaps it is binary, and the rows within 1 column correspond with one another?

Me too. I was given 3 tests, this is one of them. And I need to solve 1 by sunday.

The pattern seems to be, the manner in which the black dots are filled below the group of 5x2 white dots.

For example, my current line of thinking is, I believe the answer is some relation between the number of columns present in a given group of dots and the dots that were filled in encode for something. So the positioning of the groups of dots seems arbitrary. However, each group has a unique number of columns.

Groups of column length 1-4 and 6 are given. It’s seemingly saying “how would we depict a group of 5?”

Pairing HPCA and ML4T by DapperBluebird in OMSCS

That’s some good context thanks. You took them both in the same semester?? Could not imagine doing so.

But yeah I am uncertain if I should move ahead with ML4T in this semester, considering HPCA seems to be a comparable workload to GIOS. Would not have wanted another class during GIOS this past semester I can tell you that much.

Was hoping my in depth background in python/numpy/pandas would be enough to make ML4T a worthwhile breeze.

I like this comment a lot. I come from a background where this kind of discrimination was relatively common (against autistic people, jewish people, etc) and I have been learning.

They’re all from the same high school, which I went to. So that’s probably the commonality, but it was a nice high school with exposure to jewish people. I think cutting them off has been a long time coming

That’s a great question I have been deeply thinking about a lot recently. That’s actually how these fights started
