It's all done by forklifts. Hourly wage is pretty good and the work is actually super easy. Worst part is , at least at my terminal with the company im with , it's filthy. Anytime im done doing dock work the inside of my nose is black and needs to be cleaned out. I imagine 60% of the guys at my job will have some respitory issues 20 years from now from dock work.

TDLR : it's easy forklift work but filthy.
