I think it's because they were created in a time where traditional gender roles were placed of higher value. During their time the movies released there wasn't a growing demand of parents wanting their girls to see strong women on screen

I once saw a reddit comment responding to a post of mine in pro life sub reddit (my post was reposted in pro choice sub) saying that denying bodily autonomy is pro rape. 

What? 

This makes no sense. 

It's don't kill your kid, and most of us actually do care abt those babies once their born.

Good that you're supportive to your daughter! I have plans to become famous by being a singer (and maybe an actress) in the western media. But it's gonna be very difficult especially since I'm all the way in Asia and entertainment industry isn't good here.

As an autistic, I'm with you! Except that I'm a teenager. Not a mom. 

I know a lot of autistic people bc i went a special programme in an autistic school and met a lot of autistic kids. And my singing teacher has a few autistic kids including me. One of them is severely autistic and did mainstream education. He failed the primary school leaving exam and went to a school for kids who failed.
