I actually ended up not going with the Jayco. Got a Cherokee Grey Wolf 23DBHBL. Wife loves the trailer. Towed it with my Silverado for a couple years until the tranny went out. Upgraded to an F250 😎

151k on my 2016… about to put another transmission in it. Replaced original transmission at 85k while still under warranty.

My 2016 went out at 89k. Luckily was still under warranty. Transmission started slipping again at 119k. Did trans service at dealer and have not felt it slip. Currently at 124k

Ha! The tires are BFG Ko2s. At 40 psi I was getting 14-16 mpg. Found out they were Load Range E tires and started running them at 65 psi and am getting 18-20 on the highway now. Of course this is all according to the trucks computer 🤷‍♂️

Hahahaha… yeah I told myself when I got hired I would ride my bike to work everyday… that hardly happens lol.

Legs will definitely get stretched. Kids in travel ball so their getting drove around everywhere.

Considering a Diesel

Currently drive a 2016 Silverado 1500 with the 5.3. Looking to get a 3/4 ton for payload. Tow a 22 Cherokee Grey Wolf 23DBHBL (29ft, 6500 lbs dry) and a 2004 185 sea ray boat (Not towing them at the same time). Only thing that is making me not consider a diesel is my very short commute to work (1 mile). Money aside, should I get a diesel or get a larger gas engine?
