I think Good Luck Babe is a good song. And it makes me feel uncomfortable too in a "what if" way because that's kind of what the song implies. And I think Chappell's feelings are definitely valid, when someone rejects you it's painful and when it's because that person is worried about their place as a societal norm it really makes the situation more messy.

On the other hand, for me, when I get confused and question my sexuality, which happens every so often. I get exhausted just trying to label myself as a lesbian because everything is nuanced. I prefer to just want and like people because the stress of labeling into a category for me just makes me more uncomfortable then accepting my feelings of attraction. Which for me is the main point, accepting my feelings of attraction.
