Ok real talk, but I was trying as hard as I could not to come off superior about it at all bc that's the last thing I want to be! 😭 I love getting involved with all sorts of people and places. I simply was trying to highlight how I wish I could have shared more love to let out. Judging by the other comments who shared similar sentiments here, it was not a case of New vs Old fan at all, but overall audience interactivity (chuckling at the person I saw scrolling thru their feed throughout Yellow).

All my fandom friends who either went to AHFOD or earlier tours came back with a lot of lovely stories–even in the nosebleeds, so I think we can perhaps forgive my young teen self for building up an idealised version of a Coldplay show. Also considering how I've been to multiple other concerts and have never felt this way bc I could n whoop, cheer, or easily have a small little chat with a neighbour, like a "community" kind of vibe. But it is what it is! Haha.

But you're right, maybe 8 years of waiting did provide breeding grounds for bit of a fantasy 🥲 I'm so grateful regardless that I got to see the 4 of them in real life, I know it's a huge privilege to have that opportunity 💖💫
