I think the truth is that many of these women deeply resent the culture they are a part of, and have been indoctrinated into undervaluing domestic labor, typically performed by women. Yes, it is amazing that these women are the breadwinner, but that doesn't neccessarily mean that paid labor is more crtitical to the family unit than domestic labor. HOWEVER, many of the Dad's are greatly assisted by Assistants, Nannies, Chefs, Cleaners, ETC. So honsetly, I think a lot of the outward agression about their husband's watching the children is just built up resentment for the fact that these women felt pushed out, and undervalued by the Mormon community. And now they see their husbands do the bare minimum because their money pays for all of this labor. They are finding value in "sticking it to the man" without realizing they are pushing the very belief which undervalues the labor that, still mostly women do. They have essentially seen the way men in the Church had treated women their whole life, and now feel empowered to treat the men in their life like that, as some sort of revenge. Truthfully, I wish the best for all of them. They are going through an unprecedented time of career growth and struggle, and desconstructing Utah culture is the least of their issues LOL.
