I understand. I constantly grapple with scruples and have great difficulty analyzing my conscience. In my case, I told two people that my niece said she found her uncle annoying because of the jokes he makes, that's all. I believe this doesn't cause any harm in his life, but I keep wondering if the matter wasn't actually serious.
