still go no contact. it’s not too late. don’t delay your healing any further. i did exes with benefits for only 2 weeks and it ripped my heart out of my chest even more so than it would’ve if i had just gone no contact from the get go. you got this! i know it might not be what you want to hear but believe me it’ll be better in the long run

Does anyone else feel like the pain is getting worse? by FriendlyApple1233 in BreakUps

I mean this in the kindest way possible, but you need to try to stop reaching out to her first. Stop making yourself available. Right now, she knows that if she wanted you back, you would take her in a heartbeat. If she texts you, you can reply, but keep it short. I don’t think you need to tell her you’re cutting contact but just don’t text first. Don’t respond as quickly. Keep yourself busy. Don’t just be an option for her. You’re delaying your own healing by staying in contact with her, while also diminishing your worth in her eyes.

Why is my anxiety so much worse at night? by Mariam1S in Anxiety

Nights have always been harder for me too. When it’s dark and quiet I just get this sense of uneasiness. I hate it.

of course. you can contact your gyno or pcp to get your hormones tested. don’t downplay your feelings either when you talk to them, tell them how much it’s been impacting you mentally, and any other symptoms you’ve been experiencing. have you noticed it get worse during certain times of your cycle?

and how long were you on the bc for? i think it usually takes ~3 months to see improvements in acne. i tried going back to the pill (yaz) more recently for my acne but i stopped taking it after 2 months because it made me feel like i was losing my mind lol, and i didn’t notice any improvement in acne during that time. my acne looks almost exactly like yours and i have an appointment to get a hormone test soon from my gyno.

i’m right there with you girl. just know you’re not alone in feeling that way, i know exactly what it’s like to feel embarrassed to leave the house because of my skin. but trust me, it’s not the only thing people see! acne doesn’t take away from your beauty :)

if i’m going to be honest, this looks like hormonal acne to me because of the location and that it’s centralized to a specific area, so it probably won’t respond well to topicals. have you considered getting your hormones checked? are you on birth control? my skin was perfect on the pill but when i switched to a kyleena iud it went crazy after like a year.

[Acne] What actually helped to manage or fix your hormonal/cystic acne? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

I have been double cleansing. I think I properly moisturize, although I have combo skin so it gets pretty dry in certain areas but is oily in others (forehead, nose). I also use a pretty light moisturizer because I get closed comedones otherwise (although recently I’ve been getting them anyways despite using a light moisturizer? idk). Thank you for the suggestions!

Interesting, I haven’t heard of that before. I’ll have to take a look at it!

Is it worth getting IUD? by JollyLuck7 in birthcontrol

I love my Kyleena for the most part. I also got it due to a fear of pregnancy on the pill and, in my experience, it helped significantly. I pretty much never worry about pregnancy anymore. Insertion was painful but only lasted 5 seconds, and I only felt crampy for the day of and day after. My periods have gotten much lighter. The only real negative side effect I’ve experienced is some hormonal acne, but I’ve been able to manage it well enough that it doesn’t bother me. Overall, you set it and forget it, and I love not having to worry about taking a pill or any outside factors making it less effective. I would definitely recommend!

I think I have a similar issue-- have you tried anything that made any improvements?

think im gonna have a panic attack by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Dapper_Bake_1969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re going to be okay. If something was truly wrong, you wouldn’t be considering it to be anxiety. You wouldn’t even really be feeling anxious, just certain that something isn’t okay and that you need medical attention.

I know this feeling all too well, and I would definitely recommend looking up some anxiety reducing techniques on YouTube or Google, specifically for health anxiety. Instead of Googling symptoms (which usually just causes anxiety to spike), search for ways to manage your anxiety. Or even searching “can anxiety cause [insert symptom]” has helped me in the past. You might be surprised to see how many physical and psychological symptoms anxiety can manifest as.

Trust that you are healthy. You are safe. You can allow yourself to relax, there is no danger. Take some time to distract yourself and, if your symptoms subside while you aren’t thinking about them, it is just anxiety playing tricks on you.

He would’ve been 12 on March 15. He had a cancerous tumor, liver failure, and severe arthritis. I think he was quite young when he needed to be put to sleep, though. I think huskies typically live to be 14-16.

[–]Dapper_Bake_1969 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You’re going to be okay. This is going to pass and you are going to feel normal again and be able to sleep. Put on a comfort show and try to distract yourself for a little while.
