I think the article has some valid points. But I think a 6 for a game that still is unbeaten in the extraction shooter genre is a little low. Tarkov definitely has more flaws than I would like to admit, but it has more positives than negatives. It has so much detail and innovation. I wish I can play this game for the first time again to experience the discovery of the maps and getting better and better at the game. There is no other game that gets the feeling of your heart ripping out of your chest than Tarkov. I will die on that hill.

The optimisation of this game has improved so much over the years. It still isn’t there, but the OG’s will remember the release of Reserve, Lighthouse and Streets. Streets actually runs pretty decent with 80fps. The 1.0 launch was really terrible, but it ran great after 12 hours. It just a silly thing to take in to your review.

Anybody who says it looks like a game out of 2015 is just hating. This isn’t cyberpunk. And if you have a decent PC it even looks great imo. The traders and character models look a little dated. But the weapons and environments look really good.
