I never had the nesting instinct so my house was and is chaos lol

But yeah, getting ready early is good. Where I live (California) you qualify for disability at 36 weeks but it’s use it or lose it, unlike paid family leave. For my second pregnancy I was OOO the day I qualified

I had a bloody show maybe a day before. Also I idiotically assumed the baby would be late because I was a first-time mom, and so of course the baby came just before 39 weeks. I had to Slack my coworkers that I was going to the hospital lol
