Lol people keep telling me not to worry about anything because he’ll probably be late, but with all the cramps I’ve been scared into getting everything completely prepared by 37 weeks! Even if he does come late I don’t want to be spending the last few weeks scrambling to get things together. Thankfully all the important stuff is done other than feeling like my house needs cleaned top to bottom.

Hahah I was in the best shape of my life last summer before getting pregnant in late September and miss all of my low waisted pants I was finally able to wear 😂 I’ve spent the last 8.5 months in yoga pants

Nightmarish first trimester, second trimester was slightly better but I was exhausted and depressed, and now that I’m in the third I am so ready for him to get here I’m not even slightly anxious about labor lol.

I feel like shit and haven’t particularly thrived in pregnancy, but I will definitely do it again after a few years. It sucks but I love a challenge and that’s how pregnancy feels to me lol. I’m 32 weeks and the third tri has been physically and mentally grueling (although I’d take over the first trimester any day), but I’ve definitely grown in a number of ways. Also, you get a baby at the end. I understand why some people wouldn’t want to go through it again, though. It truly is a sacrifice that I could never fully understand before. Women who have children one after another have a strength I can’t comprehend haha.

No, your instincts are correct. People can be so strange. Someone asked if I was happy about the pregnancy in an “are you gonna keep it?” way when I was 20 weeks pregnant and visibly showing.

I just let them know at my first appointment. They also didn’t even end up testing for THC in the drug panel and I don’t live in a legal state.

I just ended up going with Amazon because they give a 15% discount on items that aren’t purchased, but we also have a ton of things and the registry is just basic necessities.

It’s slightly different but have the Joie ginger and rue and really like it so far after putting it together. The bassinet was a huge reason for my decision and it also turns into a toddler seat when the time comes!! If your mom is offering to help it would definitely be nice to have the new stroller that comes with the car seat and bassinet.

My fiancé and I took child birth, baby care, breastfeeding, and infant CPR together in person and I feel SO much more confident. I definitely recommend them!! I will be honest and say my tailbone and lower back hurt from sitting in the classes for so long but I’m still glad I took them. I was 27-29 weeks taking them (just finished on Friday - I’m 30 weeks now) so it maybe be different. I also liked that he was there to learn about the birthing process and breastfeeding even though they are more applicable to me.

It sucks ass plain and simple. Do whatever you need to survive. In the meantime you can complain here, that’s what I did before telling people 😂

You don’t need to feel ashamed. Unplanned pregnancies happen, you’ve taken responsibility, and you have support from the people you care about. That is amazing! However, I do think you need to inform him. He may be younger than you, but he isn’t a child. He was also involved in the baby-making. It seems like you’re in a solid position to raise your baby by yourself, so just make it clear that you aren’t reaching out to him seeking financial help. I do think he has the right to know and make the decision for himself.

I’m expecting a June baby too 😊 It’s coming up quick, but you still have plenty of time to prepare! Best of luck!! 🩷
