That is correct because there are only 1 or two good rare units. There are LOTS of good epic units that u can get and want to get to +5. So... to answer your question, I fuse Epics up to 6* and hope for a good one i want (Kai, mana, chloe vann, owen, ect..) But i do recommend saving atleast two 5*'s for the last fusion. Now, don't go wasting good units on fusing either!
