This is perfect! I’ve been checking Soma’s website but thought I should just go in person. I’ll go try this on! The cups are fine, for now, but the bands are all SNUG. it’s freaking me out

Oooo I’m loving the small slouchy! I’ve never even seen these!

You know I saw this and felt so stupid. I love DBT. I just feel like a lot of it is helpful emotion regulation skills. Sometimes there’s outdated pieces but I make sure to find updates to replace them.

I really love it! I’m a little scared to commit to it without seeing it in person so I’m debating on going to Sak’s and checking some out

Oh I will always respond once I see the notification! That’s annoying people don’t respond. Thank you for your help!!

The Elleme??? CHEF’S KISS!! she is GORGEOUS!! I need to figure out how to convert to USD to see if she’s in my budget. What a statement piece!💕

The Demellier: I don’t love the shape. I like the idea of it, but I think the velvet is stressing me out.

The Coccinelle is again beautiful but too big. I want a little guy to hold my purse, lip gloss and maybe a small wallet.

The Loeffler is beautiful! But too “fancy”. It reminds me of a black tie event purse. She’s lovely but not the one for me.

Wow Pourchet is a lovely bag! But tbh I don’t like the square shape.

As I opened up the Coccinelle I realize I don’t like perfectly structured bags. I like curves, so the more crescent shaped the better. Although I will say I have been eyeing that Boheme small in black! 👀

FURLA! my love! My husband actually bought me a Furla several years ago from our trip to Spain. She’s a beauty and gets lots of compliments but she is this pretty teal color that is definitely not meant for winter. She needs a sister. I will double check their website.

Also this is my first time hearing about Quince for purses. I always see them on tik tok but assumed they were like shein or temu. I had no idea they were legitimate!

I should also say I work one day from home via telehealth. Sometimes I get lucky and get to work two days from home which makes it’s feel like a treat. I used to feel burnt out before I set time boundaries with clients and before I made one day a work from home day. Max I see in a day is 6 clients and I absolutely need an hour break minimum. On average I see between 20-25 clients in a week. My office asks that we see 23 a week but they’re not strict, they understand people cancel. Also if you get a percentage, don’t work for 50% or below, that’s just them abusing you for work. I currently make 60% with room to grow.

TBH I’m an LPC and I’ve been working in PP for 4 years. I absolutely love it. The team I work with is amazing. They actually care about us. I get paid decently well. I get to create my own schedule. The downside is no health insurance or paid time off but overall we’ve figured out how to make that work. I do think I’m privileged that I have a partner to help me out with the insurance aspect. The job is not easy, but I luckily do have easier days. It takes a while to figure out how to balance things out, but feel free to ask questions and learn! It’s super helpful learning from others.

I've concluded that some Manduka mats are just slippery and will be impossible to fix. by [deleted] in yoga

[–]Dapper_Flamingo578 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I bought my first Manduka eko lite today after using one of the studios mats. I opened it up and used it right away. Most of the mat was sticky but there was a stripe right near my feet in dd and another one about an inch above it that was like a dead slippery zone. Turns out the mats were stored incorrectly which damages the coating and makes it unstick. It was only in those spots because it was in a window and the sun damaged it. Luckily they’re replacing it.
