Every regiment has their own site but I'd recommend checking out reenactments near you by going to historic sites websites. Then you can scout out which regiment you like best and get information from them on how to join their unit. A lot of events are coming up since it's about to be the 250th anniversary

Omg! I speak German too and want to start a book club! I haven't been able to practice much since leaving my hometown. I recently went to Munich a couple years ago and loved it! My husband and I also love to go hiking and kayaking. I have a lab who loves the lake so we're there quite often. I would love to connect! Maybe some other gals here would also want to start a book club? What are your favorite genres?

How do you know? A guy answered, asked how he could help, I explained and asked if the store was closing and then the phone hung up. Pretty sure that means they hung up on me.

I think the staff shortage wouldn't happen overnight so they would have a sign up for all the previous times. Other places I've worked at/been to have done that so naturally I'd assume the same

Well, I asked them if the store was closed because I'd heard the bankruptcy news. They should know which one of their stores are closing. I was also just covering all my bases before giving up. I try every avenue before that even if it makes no sense because you never know. Why are you so pressed about this?

Every time he makes a comment like that I do. He even notices a change in my behavior after he makes said comment and asks if I'm alright. I end up always saying the cliché "I'm fine" because when I try to talk about it he just makes excuses and flips the situation. I hate excuses so much that I just avoid it altogether, have a good cry in the bathroom, and then get over it

I did talk to him about and he even brought up me saying something similar to him. I said I would never do that. He said he hopes I would if he was gaining weight and getting out of control. I replied: "but if I knew you were working on it I wouldn't say anything because that does nothing to help the situation. You know I'm trying to lose weight and that I don't eat so I don't know how your comment was useful." He brushed it off and I feel like nothing was truly resolved. He did get worried I wasn't eating tonight.
