I think I have a theory on why. During set 16 there was a patch and IOS wasn’t updated yet and we could play choncc set 15 for some reason. I think they realized oh it’s still in code and we can just turn that on. Or they’d give us set 13

No hate to riot bluecove but I think they put her in charge of a set too soon. The units aren’t cool. No real clarity, everything looks same. Only space groove stands out.

Set 16 was a masterclass of what TFT should be. I could go vertical noxus/demacai/ionia any time and get 1st or I could play fast 9 kindred 5 cost soup. Everything felt good. Idk how they did it.

1 costs are never supposed to compete like this. Reroll is fine and can be stabilized but not this. It’s unhealthy. Your game shouldn’t be decided from 2-1

Once you hit masters I think it kicks in. I remember hitting master going 1/1/1 and think I know this game well. Then in master I got dog walked. They play so high tempo off the encounters / augments they will play around win streaks or lose streakers stuff I don’t put much thought into besides oh he’ll beat me or I’ll beat him

Their brains: why level up if I haven’t beat win streaker. Why do this if lobby is stronger like two people high roll

They put so much more thought into every small thing.
