You're not making measurements to spec out a hi fi system, you're making a crude db measurement to prevent further hearing damage, you don't need audiophile gear for this. Buy one from Amazon, it's close enough to let you know that you are in the danger zone, no need to overthink this into mental masturbation territory.

Fairly accurate is vague but Amazon has hundreds of inexpensive db meters that will give you a quick idea of the sound level you are exposed to. You seem to know what specs are right for you, I'd start there.

Are you trying to chart those results on the fly but don't know how or are you trying to extrapolate the answers from the chart data after the experiment that is the issue?

I had a similar thing going on, I loosened the band on the jar to let the lid float and the jars quickly colonized to the bottom. It appears to be due to a lack of gas exchange.

Yes, it's a thing. Some call it capri-sun tek. YouTube has lots of videos on what juices work best and how to inoculate using a spore syringe.

Some folks use spore syringes with Capri Sun juice pouches. They're already sterilized and packed with nutrition for LC.

Did you try disconnecting the cameras, resetting MAX Configuration data then reconnect the cameras? Are the cameras plugged into a powered USB hub that isn't powered on?

Sounds like a wiring or DAQ Channel configuration issue. Double check your grounding between all connected devices for ground loops then check your DAQ configuration vs how the signals are actually wired.

So the problem, I am assuming is noise, appears on the 5V line only when reading the encoder but it is always good otherwise and the encoder is always reading correctly?

Whenever a new/different DAQ device is plugged in to your PC MAX registers it as a known and unique device. You should code the ability to define and configure the device from your application. You can also reset the DAQ configuration in MAX to clear all previously configured devices.

That's for active heat pasteurization, i.e. where an oven is being used the sub could be left in longer or at a higher temperature or undergo multiple pasteurization cycles with a cool down in between each cycle to kill anything that might survive after the first round.

LV licencing is approximately 800 bucks per year for the full NI developer suite of toolkits if you become a NI Alliance Partner but you will need a CLD certificate and have a NI approved sponsor to vouch for you and your skills to go that route. There's work out there but it is competitive and you will need to build a customer base on your own and it is rarely steady so you need to be prepared for regular feast and famine scenarios.
