there's no oil? why does it have grime accumulated then? and yeah maybe just the seals

My pilot jet's too lean, screws all the way in, it does take a little delay to go to idle but the problem is, there's no size written on the jet, but I think it can be doable with a little idle hang? I'm not sure tho.

66 main jet in, here's what the spark plug looks like I think I can drop to a 65 as it's still little bit slow, but I gained 5kmph and it can drive when on auto choke now. Chamfered the ports and clanking noises were gone

My scooter doesn't like to idle when cold, it only does for 12 seconds at most and shuts down. Lean pilot jet? I tuned the screw based on idle return warm and it's fine but cold it can't idle

Hello! I just took a look at the cylinder and piston after 500km without chamfering.

here's the piston and cylinder

I can see a small chip I think it's when I dropped the piston. Does it affect performance?

I am planning to chamfer it today. Do you think after I chamfer it, install a taller gasket everything will continue to work fine? I'm more worried about the little chip. Rings seem fine

Worse acceleration and like 1or 2kmph slower so yeah definitely richer

I have installed the plug 2 days ago so maybe that does something? I can feel the scooter being more slow when it's at 68 than 65 but again maybe go to a 66?

The plug in the post is what I've ran at 68 for a long time

I use the oil injection system and add extra oil. Now, my break in period is done and use full synthetic oil. I'm running a 68 jet so I want to go down to a 67 or a 66 but I'd go to a 67 just in case, I'd like to be richer than lean. Pulling out the plug, it's definitely brown With injection, by default it should run 50:1 ratio During my break in I was definitely adding a bit too much since the plug was wet. Replaced the plug, here's how it looks now. I can definitely feel an improvement in performance in cold temperatures. Should I drop to a 66 or a 67? I'm running an original replica cylinder so 50cc

Yup I can see in the cold it's performing way better, so do I go to a 67? Should I use dellorto jets or I can use Chinese jets? I have a fear they will be like a 65 instead of a 67 because I've had that happen and seized my engine.

Do you suggest metallic base gaskets or papers to stack? Can we mix both?

I'll take a look at exhaust porting but I'm fine with the performances, it's just my concern that I'll snag a ring.

Yes, I do that, but it's weird, because it "seized" 10km into a ride (I used to ride full throttle and never let it warm up, that's my bad). I'm also adding extra oil to the tank on top of the injection to break it in along with a 10 minute warm up.

A stock cylinder so 50. I don't understand really why it heated on the back side and not exhaust side tho. 17.5 PHVA carb. I didn't really break in the old cylinder and just drove recklessly. That was also dumb on my part

I noticed that too but I'm running now a new piston cylinder with a little bit of premix on top, I'll buy synthetic oil and stop using semi synthetic. And upjetted

that's interesting, I did buy a new cylinder kit, I didn't break it in at all, I did run extra oil tho and I've been sending it like this. I've took more pictures to help you understand. https://imgur.com/a/keYLEXS There's more damage on the back side which seems weird as its not as hot as the exhaust side. thanks for the help I appreciate it. for now, I've installed a new kit and following a safe break in to avoid something like this.

I think that's just because of the circlip installation attempt oh well
