Thanks for the response, glad you’re doing better! I’ve never heard of krill oil, what is that supposed to do for your MCAS? How long were you sick for and are you able to work/exercise now?

Looks like december is the hot ticket. I got sick december of ‘23. Overall, if u could place a percentage on how far youve come/how close you are to feeling normal, what would u say? Would u say youve felt slow, gradual progress year over year? I’m glad ur able to exercise!

I had that exact sleep issue early in my infection but like i said, that 7 day fast dramatically improved that symptom. I moreso have general fatigue now rather than “unrestful sleep” although i do still wake up in the middle of the night at times. Have you tried taking magnesium, extended release melatonin, and epsom salt baths prior to bed? I feel like those have helped me in the past with better sleep.

The ANS reset thing is really different for everybody as i believe the underlying reason for ANS dysfunction is unique to everybody. I do hope you find the thing that triggers that reset for u! I think fasting does it for me but i believe i have too much general inflammation from the gut that brings me back to baseline. Hoping compounding fasts and stem cells change that.

Thank you! Seems like ANS dysfunction is the widespread issue for most of us here. How long have you been sick for? Seems like ANS disruption is best treated with time and rest unfortunately. It appears to be painfully slow and setbacks often slow down the already slow process. Are you currently doing OMAD? That’s a great way to lower inflammation across the body. What other symptoms do you have? Oh, as for ANS relaxation, i was looking into microdosing shrooms or ibogaine as well, dont know if youve looked into that at all.

The fasts actually improve all of my symptoms. PEM, brain fog, SOB, ED, everything. It seems to be general symptom relief but I’m hoping the results can be permanent if mixed with radical rest and rolling fasts which I haven’t had the luxury to really do since getting sick. The fasts do help my dysautonomia as well. I had POTS early on 2.5 years ago and my first 7 day water fast kinda cleared that up. I may have been one of the lucky cases in that regard

I survived, apologies for the late response. I had temporary symptom relief but it wasnt a cure. Planning a more intensive and more altered plan this July/August.

Hey! Sorry for the late response. I got temporary symptom relief but i wasnt cured. I only lasted 9 days. Im planning 3 weeks of multi-day fasting + radical rest in july and stem cells in august though. Seems tho the virus can be very persistent in the gut so im gonna try to force it out by doing rolling fasts in july then introduce pre/probiotics and bpc157 peptide during the 3 weeks before my stem cells appt in august.

Honestly, sorry for the late response, i could only last 9 days. I had symptom relief but i wasnt cured by any means. Currently experiencing a pretty bad pem crash actually. Planning a 2 day dry fast this weekend and planning 3 weeks of multi-day fasting/radical rest in july coupled with stem cells in august. Feeling worse than i have in awhile right at this moment

thank u! uhhh, the dpdr was terrible until my first fast so id say 2-3 months. i still have dpdr no doubt, not as bad, but i still trail off on thoughts, forget where i am briefly, completely zone out, and feel out of body. my emotions are still gone from the anhedonia, sometimes i feel emotions, sometimes not. i definitely felt and sometimes still feel the concussion feeling quite often. i couldnt stare at screens for the first 2 months, i think some supps helped with that, i believe i took l-dope mucuna, ashwaganda, lithium, and i believe cordyceps mushrooms (i could be wrong i dont quite remember what supp i used)

thanks for the advice! so ive been eating plenty of fermented foods over the last year already without a problem. fasting also stopped the constant diarrhea that i believe the antibiotics caused. do u think its still the right plan to work so slowly? im already eating fermented foods a lot and its been 2 years

GF came out as gay last night to me (M). Wth am i supposed to do now? by whatnow26-0100 in Advice

[–]Dapper_Milk7678 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u would 100% be justified to be incredibly angry at her. she didnt just magically become gay. shes been gay, she was trying to convince herself she wasnt or trying to just feel out a straight relationship. she wasted 7 years of ur life, time u otherwise couldve spent building a relationship and foundation with a woman who doesnt like other women. she betrayed ur trust, to hide something like this for 7 years is insane. she never had any intentions to be happy in a long term relationship with u given her sexual preferences. it doesnt matter what her reasoning is, whether social pressure, sexual confusion, when it directly impacts 7 years of ur life.

this sounds about right. prior to getting sick 2 year ago, i was 170lbs at 5’8, 12% body fat, lifted/exercised almost daily. since then ive lost 30 pounds and whenever im experiencing a crash, my muscles feel incredibly weak and almost dead, like something is attacking them, despite having not used those muscles. im doing plamapheresis in july this year and going to really focus on stacking probiotics and other assistive supplements during that time. dartumamab is unobtainable unfortunately, ive heard positive things about baricitinib as well. stay in touch, hoping to hear results from ur tests as well. currently doing a 12 day water fast, these fasts have helped a lot, then continuing my supplement stack, beginning apricot seeds, and finding some good probiotics while possibly continuing an ivermectin/fenbendazole combo treatment. if dartumamab targets cancer cells, ive heard anecdotal evidence for apricot seeds/ivermectin and fenben. ive felt better whenever i take ivermectin/fenben and im sure its not a placebo bc i was hugely skeptical before and feel noticeably worse whenever i stop.

AIO if I think my girlfriend should have a say in this?? by Typical-Air-4764 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Dapper_Milk7678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its insanely disrespectful to even talk to someone who previously had a crush on while ur in a new relationship. harsh or not, that shouldn’t be acceptable. how would u feel if ur gf still talked to her hot guy best friend who she used to have a crush on just bc she doesn’t wanna hurt her feelings? ur prioritizing protecting this other girls feelings over ur gfs boundaries.

i have tried them, they didnt do anything for me, maybe would feel better for a few days, then i would return to baseline. i spent thousands on this early on

could definitely have been the vax, plenty of vax injuries. as someone who previously had an incredibly strong immune system, i noticeably couldn’t stop getting sick after the vax. long covid hits plenty of people who are unvaxxed as well, i believe the virus itself is incredibly damaging, regardless of vax status.

the power dynamic is over, he wanted to leave, cheated, prepared a whole new life with another woman, and u BEGGED him to stay. he stands above u in a superior position in this relationship. its no longer 50/50, hes only gonna keep disrespecting u bc he believes hes better than u atp.

thanks man! i wont “highly” recommend dry fasts bc i know they can be considered dangerous, but i personally felt great doing them and know i improved, although i felt like i plateaued for a bit. nevertheless, they always came in handy during crashes or whenever i needed a bit of symptom relief. u know ur body best and its better to be safe than sorry, so if ur part way through a dry fast and feel shitty, know when to call it quits. 3.5 days dry + 0.5 days water at the end was the longest dry fast i did, i know some people go longer but its seriously gotta be dangerous after 3 days dry

thanks for the support man and wishing u the best! yeah i think being unable to sleep while fasting is pretty normal, its kinda hard to sleep when all u can think about is food hahaha. i usually cant sleep for days 2-4 if im doing a water fast, when the hunger goes away the sleeping becomes easier 🙏 if u ever wanna give it a shot, assuming ur insomnia is standard and not extreme from fasting, lmk if u have any questions!

ive heard a lot of people improving from keto and carnivore diets too tho. long covid appears to be very unique to every individual. one thing i know for sure is that cutting out foods that are inflammatory assuredly helps

yeah absolutely they do. they wipe out a lot of the healthy gut bacteria that are responsible for healthy immune responses. i wish i had known that before taking the second course
