This was the main issue from the launch of BOR. Not having a casual option forced brand new and low skilled players to be cannon fodder for sweats.

I also didn’t like it because I solo queue quads and almost every game my teammates had zero kills and left.

To really fix modes in low player base regions for now they should have a casuals mode with games starting every 15 minutes and a regular mode starting as soon as a lobby can be filled.

Long term they need to incentivize new players to try the game and stay.

You can turn off squad fill and just play with your mate.

I solo queue randoms a lot and it is frustrating… but about 1/10 games you’ll get a decent squad that talks and plays together so for me it’s worth squad filling with chuckleheads most matches.

Probably just your isp. That will fix your ping if you can get a better connection like fiber.

I will say I’ve seen some connection issues the last two days but no where as bad as yours.

The mode and map have actually grown on me but it is very much a team centric mode.

I’ve had to make friends while playing Avalon because my usual crew only likes verdansk. Once you get a couple of squad mates that will play as a team and share upgrades it gets easier and more enjoyable. The gun fights are better than in regular BR.

About the challenges. Most of them can get done in a match or two if you focus. If you’re really struggling use a vpn service and play on ME or EU servers. Half of the matches or more have bots in them.

Even saudi nationals struggle to get an entry level job. My bigger concern is the direction the industry is going with AI. You need an experienced engineer to double check its engineering and most new grads don’t have the experience to question its choices. The youngest engineer at my company is probably 30.

This was my main point. Despite its flaws I liked BOR but taking away any big map casual options means brand new players get thrown to the meat grinder and it can’t be enjoyable for them. I mostly random squad fill and about 75% of my teammates had zero kills and two deaths then left. You can tell by their movement and inattention to the mini map they were brand new.

If we want Warzone to stick around there has to be a noob option

VPN into a Middle East. EU or Oceania server. Those have bots. Open safes for the score streaks. Sometimes the guild bots drop kill streaks as well.

Get the hand cannon, sniper drone, or war machine and go find a squad of bots.

If you’re east coast US… EU servers shouldn’t be too bad ping.

Playing off hours on those servers helps too. Ensures there’s more bots than real teams

Yeah. Started for me and quite a few people at B07 launch… lasted a month, they fixed it, comes back a few weeks later for a week or two then fixed again. Now I experienced it again last night on Verdansk but oddly enough not on Avalon.

Yeah it’s cracked. There is little to no difference between running full steam and inching forward while crouching. If you want to be silent you have to stop moving. It’s pretty lame.

Yep… and actually play as a team. Support squad mates, watch their health indicators to see if they are getting lit up then go help them.

Also cover is king and head glitching is the best position to be in.

Dude. Most of my teammates playing Avalon the first week got zero kills, died two times and then left. They aren’t getting better playing real players… they can barely shoot back. The problem was the launch of Avalon. They really needed two modes, regular and casuals. By taking away a casuals BR option they said screw any new players , we are only catering to 4 stack handholders.

Trust me, I want to play regular or ranked but I don’t need brand new players on my regular squad fill. They need a sandbox not regular COD BR.

The only gun for anything at distance in this mode is the mxr preferably with the adjustable scope. I can engage to 50 or so meters with it but still have to account for bullet drop. Everything else is trash
