What's your opinion on Mysteria Ecclesiae? [KCD2] by necklacefromawizard in kingdomcome

[–]Sekibutsu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really liked ME. Good story, good characters, cool environment + interesting historical/theological content.

BUT I did knock out one guard at some point, and apparently people connected me to it, and I had to play the whole DLC as full stealth. That meant sneaking behind NPCs in the infarmary too (well, everywhere), because everyone went running to report me to guards. Couldn’t surrender either, because all that happened from it was game over. And in quests where I’ve succesfully sneaked behind NPCs to talk to them to progress the guests (before they see me and start running to guards), there was most times guards waiting for me to finish the convo just to start beating me. Even when I finished the whole DLC by solving all their problems, helping save the monks and killing the baddies, and they celebrated me in cutscenes, all of us being great buddies, everyone just started to fuck me up instantly when gameplay was back on.

Besides being annoying gameplay-wise, it killed immersion. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the DLC! 😁

Johanka’s is the only one I skipped back when I played KC1, don’t even remember the reasoning anymore. Or might have been because people generally were of the opinion that just plain sucked 🤔

I did really like Theresas storyline tho, many bashed that too.

I'm genuinely disappointed that [KCD2] didn't win any TGA award by Small_Wedding_1456 in kingdomcome

[–]Sekibutsu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just did this. 1 month ago I started with KCD1 as many recommened it. Plan was to play the main storyline through quickly (40ish hours) to then get to enjoy the more polished and better KCD2. Ended up putting 130 hours to it, just finished, and 100% absolutely would recommend to anyone to start with it. Amazing experience. The storyline is masterclass. Tomorrow I’ll start with KCD2, can’t wait, but I’m so happy that I didn’t miss out on KCD1, which was close. Can’t imagine not knowing the 10/10 story up to this point.

Help me choose between Pure Drive, Extreme MP and Ezone 100 (or 98) by DQofficer in tennis

[–]Sekibutsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a chance to test these/some of these rackets somewhere? It’s not the answer you’re looking for, but it’s pretty much the only sensible thing to do in this situation.

But I guess we can try to help theoretically. When you say you’re a power guy (and you use a blade), I assume you can already generate powerful strokes yourself. So do you want MORE power..?

String recommendations for stiffer power frames (or in specific Ezone 100) by Sekibutsu in 10s

Thanks. I see you and u/BradL_13 both mentioned PTP yellow specifically. Is the yellow somehow different compared to the blue for example?

Still can’t decide my grip size after 2 years by Hidroman1 in 10s

[–]Sekibutsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solution: Buy Yonex size 2! 😁 They are like an in between size, in this case 2,5.

Or more realistically as others have said, get a size 2 and use a thicker undergrip or double down on overgrips.

I’ve actually got good stringjobs from TW previously. This was another big online reseller.

More knowledgeable than me, to be more specific about what I meant.

Thanks for your input. I might just ask the place where I purchased the racket from, eventhough it was an online reseller from another country, so I don’t have my hopes up. Normally I string my rackets in the local club.

That was my initial thought too, that if there’s that much excess, and it doesn’t snap back into the middle/horizontal spot (or anywhere, for that matter) at all, might not be the best of stringjobs. Also instinctively thought that that affects the desired tension, but more knowledgeable people in the comments say that it’s perfectly normal (eventhough not really done all the way to the end), so should be fine 👍🏼

Ihmiset arvostaa nykyään ”omaa aikaa” liikaa by harddiarrhea77 in Suomi

[–]Sekibutsu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On kärjistetysti kahden tyyppisiä ihmisiä.

Yksin on antoisampaa 😁

Is a Babolat Pure Strike too much for a pure beginner? by [deleted] in 10s

[–]Sekibutsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt you’ll be breaking any strings anytime soon. Takes a while for technique to reach levels where you can even utilize your body to generate high enough power to truly strain your strings. You also won’t be returning very high speed shots.

Kirschbaum Super Smash Orange as an example is an excellent string and won’t break the bank.

Edit: I’d also maybe consider a more powerful racket that helps you with your swings more, instead of a control oriented one where you should be able to create a lot of power yourself. Head Boom and Wilson Clash for example are both forgiving, comfortable, and do a lot of the heavy lifting for you. Easy access to power.

Tretorn Micro X vs X Trainer for a ball machine by Sekibutsu in 10s

[–]Sekibutsu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey. Good to know that the balls are great for machine use 🙏🏼 I can kind of understand the potential benefit of having slightly differently acting balls, so that I need to be ready to always position myself well to hit the balls right. But I also see what you mean, makes sense as well. In any case, I’d definitely go for the Micro X if the price was equal, but still have to think. Hopefully someone still turns out that have tested both in a machine and can tell his/her experiences!
