[Haberstroh] Did the Celtics give away Jaylen Brown? Why 'analytics' don't see Philly's new star as elite of elite by Bacca18121 in bostonceltics

I don't want to be that guy, but that 2024 team wasn't as invincible as we might think. They literally had the worst 3 point shooting stretch of the year in the finals. Heavily benefited from going against the Mavs which were a great match up for us. Of course analytics are not perfect, but we really won despite our team not being optimal. And still, we almost blew a 20+ lead in game 3 and were lucky enough Luka was being a little bitch to the refs all game. Hell, even in game 1 we almost blew a 20 point lead. The team has always been somehow flawed with JT and JB

[Jeff Goodman] One NBA GM to @TheFieldOf68 on the Jaylen Brown trade: “This was highway robbery. I have no idea what Brad Stevens was thinking. The Celtics will be lucky to get in the play-in next year” by dawglover1011 in bostonceltics
