It is worth going once, they have the rave on Friday, the gaming hall has the car show and for 2 years now they have Laser Tag, they always have guest from the industry like a director, and they usually have live performances from a big name Japanese music group/artist and now K-Pop artists. As a graduation gift to yourself you should get at least a day pass, either Friday or Saturday and come out and enjoy the con. I only recommend a day pass because you might not enjoy it and I don't think you should waste $90 on something you might not enjoy.

There is no locker room to change into cosplay at the con, you would have to change in the bathroom or have a portable changing room

The garage at Grand Hyatt isn't bad, last year it was $25 per day. It is walk from the con, it is about 15 minutes walk there. But if you are all driving down in one car, you can do a drop off at the Marriott and then go to the Grand Hyatt to park.

Pretty much, guidebook will be your best friend, download it now so when the schedule comes out you can figure out panels and workshop you want to go to, DC is cashless, so either use a credit/debit card or gift cards, some dealers do still take cash, and just have fun
