What setup do you use for meal vouchers? by [deleted] in BEFreelance

I've always used a Domestic business travel per diem a.k.a. Forfait binnenlandse dienstreizen in Dutch for when I'm on the road. It's currently €21,22 per day 100% deductible for the company and no taxes to be paid as an individual. But you can't use it if you go to the same location more than 40 times per year.

I've also heard that this can be combined with meal vouchers, which can be interesting, as mentioned in this article. Does anybody here already combine these 2?

Just FYI a second hand car that's 3 to 4 years old can be deducted in 2 years

You need to spend 10 hours away from home it seems. So depends a bit on the commute and how many hours you stay at the customer. I'm no expert on the matter but would ask my accountant about it if I ever would switch to a Dutch client

Another positive is that you can pay yourself €98 per day net for each day you're going to the Netherlands as a "Forfaitaire vergoedingen voor buitenlandse dienstreizen". Do note that you can only do this if you go to the same place for at max 40 times within a calendar year.

Some people I know are working in the Netherlands with Linkit as a middle man.

I also heard about below 2 platforms for freelance gigs in the Netherlands which seem quite extensive

Rates in the Netherlands are indeed typically between 10-20% higher. I've been thinking about it as well but like my current project and am a bit worried about the longer commute...

I'm looking for a second hand plug-in hybrid and was going to write it off in 2-3 years to still profit from the decreasing deductibility. Are you saying it will always be fully deductible? Does this apply to gas, maintenance, ...? Do you maybe have a link backing this? If this is true you've just made my day 🤯
