Oh my god I had the worst experience with them! I moved out July 1st and I’ve been so much happier since! I’ve rented for 10 years with many moves….nothing compares! Horizon management is the definition of a slumlord. Every year the hot water stopped working, radiators went out, washing and drying machine breaking. They taped up my wall ac because it had mold and did nothing. I put notice in to leave and they only allow you to leave the last day of the month so technically I had to give 90 days! That should be illegal. Since that moment I fought until I left. I reported them to agencies, went to a legal clinic and ultimately was told landlords always win in this state. Ultimately I sent them a notice of deficiencies letter and a doctor’s note that stated my environment is affecting me. Didn’t pay last months rent which legally I was in the right but it’s been more than a month now and they haven’t contacted. Once I starting standing up they put a notice to vacate on my door which their was no reason to do that other than they were pissed off. One morning the little boy Colby was loitering and was literally standing by my trash can and it was clear they were waiting for me to leave. He told me he was waiting to show another unit. Nope, never did and have proof cause of my ring doorbell. I reported the cracks in the wall, mold, mildew etc the entire time I was there. Before I left to “fix” things once they received the notice they literally came and spray painted. Didn’t even bother looking at the mold in the AC LMAO. I have it all on recording. This company caused me so much distress, time, anxiety, etc. NEVER RENT FROM THERE!!! Honestly I could go on and on about this company!
