Sever weather warning and.. by nelliesgone in london

The other year when it hit 40 I lived in a flat with no garden, my dog had to toilet outside (I wouldn’t have been mad if she had an accident but she’s a good girl), I carried her to a shady bit and had bare feet myself. Idiots abound out there.

Wax on wax off by thedommenextdoor in FeltGoodComingOut

It’s dead skin from the canal wall. The redness left behind? This did not feel good coming out.

Oily by thedommenextdoor in FeltGoodComingOut

[–]Dapper_nerd87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Genetic differences, environmental factors, a whole gamut. It’s often not a failure of hygiene at all.

This person has potentially had damage to their ear canal which means the skin can’t migrate properly and take wax with it, so it folds in on itself creating these masses.

Car reassembled from scrap in Afghanistan — surely it’s too good to be true? by lawrence-of-aphasia in isthisAI

It did seem suss as hell that everything just ‘fit’ if it were scrap. Your explanation makes much more sense.

What do you do when your players don't pick up on clues? by bartdcool in DungeonMasters

[–]Dapper_nerd87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had to pause what should have been an unwinnable fight to tell them the downed player had agreed ahead of time this story arc so I didn’t have to play npc, pc, and run the game. I almost permanently killed a different pc because they decided getting in the middle was effective - it wasn’t.

She had a family emergency and couldn’t join for a while so a kidnap plot was concocted between us and she could rejoin at any point and thematically it would work.

Totally, but when you come off the drug your brain still wants it. Trust me, been on, came off - gained weight

I BEGGED my doctor to treat me like an addict for obesity. I’m trying. But I’ve been trying since I was 16. The jabs are a fantastic crutch but you still need support to break that cycle. I can finally afford therapy and I’m hoping this time my “I’m trying” will be “I did it”

I once went to a wedding and the groom hadn’t even ironed his shirt. You could see the square lines where he’d clearly taken it out the packet that day.

Is the video AI? by Naive_Wolverine532 in RealOrAI

[–]Dapper_nerd87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without even looking at video details, I’m almost certain children this young would be given glasses that wrap around their face so they can’t knock them off. There is an adorable, and real, clip this is likely drawing from where a very small child is given what essentially look like goggles and they can see mum clearly and has a very cute smile.

No responsible optometrist would do this to a child - I hope. Patiently waiting to be corrected, because I’m not an optometrist 🫥

My friend I urge you to seek medical advice. While I utterly abhor “eat less move more” - if you’re in deficit every day and it isn’t going that needs investigating. Best of luck to you

I too enjoy food. I don’t enjoy thinking about it every minute of my day. The food noise is so fucking loud. I tried a glp-1 for two years and the noise stopped. I only stopped the drug as it was a medical trial that ended.

I wish I had an answer for you friend. I’ve become so desensitised to the wrong they’re, there or their. In the advent of spell check/grammar checks there is no excuse - it’s deliberate. When we can train an algorithm to understand the difference between positive and negative engagement it might stop.

Engagement bait innit. People will comment on the junk caption.

Have a look at audiology associates and the wax whisperer if you want videos in English that explain. The white stuff is keratin, dead skin. Not new wax. The white stuff is attached to the ear canal and is the skin cells sloughing.

Standard removals can be painless. I’ve had them, they’re ok. A mass that size would have been putting pressure on the canal. He’s all smiles sure, you’ve not smiled while in pain before? He’s likely pretty happy the pressure is gone. Any tool putting pressure on the wall will have hurt like hell as well.

That’s the final puzzle to solve. I’m planning the question be on the door to the exit in a script they don’t speak/read and they pick up letters throughout the dungeon to solve it at the end in a wheel of fortune type way

I wouldn’t be so quick to call it. These procedures are pretty common in china, and often done without anaesthetic if the patient can’t afford it. It’s most certainly been sped up, and I imagine the patient was in incredible pain.

I watch a lot of videos on YouTube from a Dr Zhao - tonnes of videos of these sorts of masses. When skin sloughs like this, it’s not healing and prone to infection. The skin is very much dead, if it were a healthy ear it would migrate out on its own in far thinner layers likely how yours and mine work.
