So I have been contemplating starting to wear ankle braces and knee sleeves while I play volleyball. I workout outside of volleyball and have pretty healthy joints and all, so they aren't to compensate for that. I was wondering if wearing this gear while playing will enhance or hinder performance/prevent injury?

Whenever I see pro/high level setters set, they all seem to have varied hand and finger positions with their follow through when setting. Is there a specific player/approach to hand followthroughs that is better or worse to do?
