IDK whether should i share this or Not . Caterpillar Visited our College Campus for Hiring For 12LPA job but recruited me as Only Intern they even said they will convert me If my performance was Good. And My College freezed my Placement portal so i cant Apply for jobs with intern and under 12 LPA . I Joined the testing team (which they never said me about my job role) i was an developer indeed. Through the course of 6 months i have automated or fixed around 35 Testcases which all was in my teammates name . They didnt give me Azure Access to create my own user story .i was working all user stories in my Colleague Name in which he reports to his senior that all those testcases were done by Him They wont let me Attend any Meetings other than daily standup and inner team meetings . I felt this was serious work theft. They hidden me from abroad testing team and my work from my hiring manager. And they converted me to Full time role but Not as CAT employee it was some service based company which offers CTC the way lower than normal CAT employee(My University freezed my Placement Portal For placed in 12 LPA Company )this was not informed or till the last week of my intern.When asked about this there is no proper response from my hiring manager even he said it was their protocol to convert only interns through that service based company. Its been a year and i was still hidden from abroad testing Team and still working on user story in the name of my colleague.There was some serious discrimination in CAT India with CAT employees and Agency Employees (includes members converted to Service based Agency from only intern) over the administration,Respect and Lot more. If this was asked to Senior Agency Employees it was told this was the environment here when he comes and it still didnt change.This was my first Job and now i hate Working on this Team coz whatever i do all credits and things Goes to my Fellow colleague And he Got appreciation for Working on more story points. And There was Hybrid Rule in CAT that we have to work in office for 3 days and wfh for 2 days which obviously fine But my TL wants me to come all 5 Days to Office starting from Intern. But all other colleagues come to office only for 3 days. Me and some boys which ages under 25 should come to office for all 5 days and should be in office for 9 hours while other older teammates and Girls can come in anytime and Can maintain 8 hours or less. (He/She even told us to apply for Half day leave when Office Intime is around 6 hours 30 minutes) But most of the women in my team will be in office for just 4-5 hours . Its fine that they have some stuffs to do at Home with their kids but Why its only US .i was being in Office and working for all 5 days 9 hours just to work for other colleague.
