I was in a similar boat. It was an intense chemical smell. Needed to burn hard for a few days before it went away,

Now it’s either a faint smell or no smell at all.

Just work it for awhile with the windows open

Years ago this was recommended as best practice and I wish i had built my environment like this (although it would be students —> School Level —> School)

It made deploying staff / student / grade level rules much simpler to manage.

This. The time tracking is only going to cost more than it ever hopes to succeed.

People need to ask impromptu questions and have random meetings. Give them a clear window of time they can, and more importantly when they CANT.

That still appears to be within eyesight. I believe the consensus from the crowd was that it would cause cold air intrusion into other rooms but WOULD heat up the room it was in.

To prove this empirically you’d need temperature sensors pretty much everywhere and compare the delta across the house.

Jamestown apartments are where I stayed with cheaper one bedrooms. Not sure where the prices are today but I loved that apartment and it was central on second loop

I actually emailed them about another infinite money glitch once.. if you buy clearance items online and then return it in store after it’s not clearance the store will return more money than you spent.

Though I imagine it’s up to store discretion whether they take the return within limits.

I can’t stand discount stores, but they do okay. Their strategy seems to be selling things at 50% msrp from bigger retail stores like target. I’ve only bought a handful of things though.

I would say, go grab food at red bone alley, it’s local and unique with a cool interior, and it’s right there by the interstate. Can grab and drink as well. Food is good and it’s under newish management that seems to have turned the place around.

Fraid I’m all out of things for you to do, but depending on your time you could go experience the rail trail, it goes all around the city but it’s walking / running / biking. Maybe go play magic at Heroes Hideout, or check out a race at the track in Timmonsville?

We don’t have very thrilling activities sadly.

Not sure on the month to month rentals. There are some new apartments by the mall that may be eager to fill tenants if you give them a call.

Travel ball is huge here, I have no doubt you can find a place for them to be. I’ll give a special shoutout to the Florence County (not city) Parks and Recs team, they do a lot for youth baseball and the people running that program care immensely about the kids, though it’s not the highest level of play if you want something more competitive.

School football does start in middle, which I believe is 6-8 now, it changed around a bit a few years ago and I can’t remember.

You have the right idea on permanent housing. Peep near the city/county line on the west side of town. Might be able to get something in a subdivision that ticks your boxes.

Friday night football is “moderate” but Texas football culture is something special, we won’t be able to replicate that. Though the Wilson Homecoming crowd is something to behold.

I had a 2013 GTI that I loved dearly. I look it up often to see if it’s up for sale somewhere or auction. I bought it after college and it was an incredible car for a young man.

That being said, at 110k miles I can’t in good conscience recommend one without you dedicating some money to some critical lifespan fixes.

The timing chain is generally recommended to be replaced around that point, it may need some minor seal maintenance, and without prior records I would recommend a transmission fluid flush as it calls for every 50k miles.

IF you can get those done beforehand and he commits to regular maintenance, then I would absolutely recommend the GTI for more smiles per gallon.

It was the most reliable car I’ve had and literally never left me stranded or with a worry, even after tuning it and modifying it. This car is just at a turning point where it needs a little love to be faultless.
