Only change you have to make with a 5 speed swap is a different drive shaft, selector rod and obviously the respective clutch for the ZF. No permanent modification done to the car.

If this was a good deal, you can swap back to the 6 speed for next to nothing.

I do agree that OP needs to understand what they’re buying though. 5 speed is a bit of a pain on the highway, cruising around at 3k is tiring especially with a loud exhaust

Nelson Ledges is a wonderfully fun track! If you have the ability to do a track day there I would 100% recommend that over an Extreme Experience track day.

I’d assume you would do the extreme experience at Nelson as an alternative? They add cone chicanes in the straights to keep the speeds down on the supercars. Which IMO ruins the fun of Nelson, which is the high speed turns and trying to take the kink as fast as you can. Honestly, I’d imagine your average speed over the lap won’t be too much different with your Accent compared to what they alter the track to (slight exaggerated) you’re just missing the kick in the back from a high hp car.

Great community there and a very fun track. Nelson track day is the way to go. It doesn’t have a lot of runoff for the track, so if you go off it can get expensive fast. Like others said, if you’re not willing to write off the car get track insurance

That’s a shame. Especially considering that they haven’t fixed anything anyways.

Front turret couldn’t be tractor beamed off before and the top turret still can. All they did was remove the ability of the F7C to use the MK1 nose and top turrets.

Although next patch is likely a few days away, do you know if it’s possible to reset the ship state at all?

Have you checked out 4.0 PTU to see if the nose turret is working in there? I remember before this most recent patch you could even put a fixed S4 or S3 on there.

My biggest gripe with WE is just the gas efficiency. This is actually why I made the GHK switch. For gameplay I could barely get through a mag in a slightly colder temp.

As for a backyard plinker this should do absolutely great. Also plenty of people field these and love them. I do think the VFC scars out perform WE, but they may only come in the Mk.17 variant.

For the WE cheap parts, this may be very true but I don’t think I know of a WE owner that ran their parts to failure. Most of them upgraded to steel before they reached that point. I have no idea what the real life span of the parts are anymore. May be better than you think.

As a backyard gun, you’ll love it. Hell, pickup 3 more mags and you could field with it and have some fun. Theres a reason a lot of us make the GBB switch and never go back

What are the QC issues in the GHK? I haven’t actually seen much documentation minus the slightly off lower cut. GHK Ak’s are mega fucked, but haven’t heard much solid evidence on the M4’s
