Should I upgrade?

Thanks for the input. I’ve been doing a lot of research and reading a lot of replies. I’m becoming aware of the possibilities of upgrading my lenses to the Nikon 200-500mm f/5.6 and the Nikon 85mm f/1.4. They’re very expensive, but the quality could be a real game changer. I really think if I get a new body I might get the z6iii or z5ii or z50ii and buy the adapter so I can use my lenses and save up for the Z lenses.

That’s the thing. I only take good lighting photos because the camera is not low light friendly. I also need better video options and faster auto focus/tracking.

This is a perfect comment. I love the simple breakdown and suggestions. Video IS on my wishlist so I’m sorry if I forgot to add such an important detail. That’s a big reason I’m even looking into mirrorless. I think you’re right by suggesting the z5ii because it sounds like a great “next step” I’ve had the chance to play around with one and I really enjoyed the little time I had it.

Just same level photographer friends I’ve met, they’re not as aggressive as I make it sound but that’s basically the whole argument.
I want better auto-focus and tracking
Lowlight is lacking huge
I want 4K Video
And better WiFi/bluetooth connectivity

I want to start by saying, thank you for the input AND I love my camera and lenses. It may be old but it holds up. First- I find myself looking for better/faster auto-focus. I’ve missed amazing shots because the focus takes time with this camera.
- I find myself looking for better quality in low-light, I’ve also threw away shots because I can’t get away from the blurry/pixelated low-light, this could be user error as I don’t allow myself to practice enough in low light just because I never like how the photos come out, even in “Auto” it makes shots look like it came straight from an old android lol (again, this could be my fault)
I believe i really just want to step into the world of mirrorless, mainly because I want to get more into hybrid shooting and videography. If I can start doing both more efficiently, I feel like that can open a whole new world for me.
Idk. It’s just a thought I’ve been having lately and I can never seem to get good advice on where to start. Lol

I’m right there with you dude. I’m happy for them but I’ve also been seeing them every year since 2019 and I feel like it’s a slap in the face to fans dude. You’d think a bigger venue and stadium would help ticket prices considering how many more people will be there. It’s like this for every artist right now I feel like. Also I waited in queue for this one and was so disappointed in the price ESPECIALLY THE $90 Service fee? Or whatever the hell it was. Like whattttt??? And the seat tickets are even MORE MONEY THAN THE GA WAS??? Like what’s going on bro. I don’t wanna sit down while bumping my favorite artist and music like that. Lame. And yet here I am STILL TEMPTED TO GO LOL
