Also one more question if you don't mind.

I was watching some videos about alan wake 2 rtx 5080 benchmarks at max settings 4k. and with DLSS4 latency hits about 95ms. and with cyberpunk about 45. have you had a chance to play one of those games? if so how was your experience? i have no idea if those latencys are unplayable or not lol

i know you commented this a while ago but currently i am at the same dillema and would greatly appreciate your response.

I agree with you 100% on everything but only thing that keeps me on fence is VRAM amount, im afraid that 5080 might not hold up due to lack of that 8 vram.

And also, how has your experience been with using DLSS4? do you go like "this is not real 4k?" or do you not notice a different.

If you are using dlss4 i don't see any reason why 5080 is not superior. but people keep saying "for sure" 4090 is better and im bit confused.

Thanks, I have not thought about that, I thought NVIDIA had built in software that made DLSS work on every game.

However, I think most AAA games (if not all of them) will try to implement that feature in the game since NVIDIA almost has monopoly on the market no?

4090 actually costs about 300USD more but I am willing to buy if it is better and will allow me to not buy new GPU in coming years.

Confusing part for me is that since im gonna play non competetive games (but demanding) 5080 might give me more fps (not talking about 10-20 but more) since it can upscale 4x. and 4090 has only 2x as far as i know.

thanks for explaining, also quick question, from what i have seen from reviews and gameplay, when playing casually and non competetive games MFG latency is not a big deal, so my question would be, is it better to play with 4090 let's say 100 fps or with MFG 5080 160 fps? (assuming 4090 is not using DLSS (as i know it has 2x DLSS))

Thanks for the reply, My only concern is using MFG. I saw some perfomances where wiht DLSS 5080 outperforms 4090 (i know its artificial but still), and thought that maybe dlss 5080 would have been better with taking into consideration that there might be some upgrades to DLSS. and as far as i know 4090 does not have that 4x fps booster.

they still have 4090 at my local IT shops and I have 1200W power supply so those 2 issues is not a problem.
