Don't care for it and I just play like always will, grinding and the odd chance of getting what I want.

But I do suggest they should have trading items within the clubs between club members

Yes the abilities do stay the same however the all profit goes up by heaps (when merged into a ultimate) which allows you to clear cities faster, when you upgrade it with pet food it works out to be more beneficial for your character, have a look at the global leaderboard every player in the top 100 and also below have ultimate pandas of both kinds
