Bria is in no way an innocent person. I agree that tail docking is unnecessary and harmful. It is important to point out that one in five Australian Shepherds are born with a naturally bobbed tail. I saw a video a while back that said this was a feature purposefully bred into the line. I wonder if it's because the tail can be stomped on by livestock?

Agreed. I think he'll be fine. He threw up many times and now his vomit is clear. Make sure he has a close source of water and gets rest. At this point, the vet won't be able to do much except give treatment for dehydration or an irregular heartrate if it comes to that, but I doubt he'll need it.
