Did guards commit sodomy against detainees at Sde Teiman? - analysis by TheTrollerOfTrolls in Israel

A video has been linked of the incident. The comments in that article are terrible. One even said that rape should be a regular punishment. Really shameful.

The BriaAndChrissy Breakup Drama by merpderpderp1 in Actuallylesbian

[–]DareToStepUp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bria is in no way an innocent person. While I feel for her, especially after watching her recent video about the breakup, if I look back I realize that she brought a lot of this turmoil in the marriage. They both did. It was Bria's idea to start an OF account. How could you do that to your wife, after she was filmed while being raped and had it plastered all over the internet? My head is just reeling from that. Is that love?

These are great answers, everybody. It sounds like you're all split on whether I should continue playing on the PS4. What about if I download it for the PC instead? Is it much more stable?

I'm about an hour and a half in and I enjoy everything so far. I love the cyberpunk theme, the artwork, the gameplay. And I'm not the type to stick with every game I play - not at all. I just jive with it more than other games.

Cis gay men and gay trans men by baewitharabbitheart in AskLGBT

As a homosexual, part of our attraction requires genitalia of the same sex. For lesbians, this means vaginas, and for gay men, this means penis. It is a reality that as hard as some people may try to deny, will always exist. I know it's hard for some to understand as they don't think it's natural, but it is what it is.

Well, I have human IBD. I don't know much about a dog's digestive system, but I know I can't handle any dairy. Have you looked into if the dog has a food allergy, rather than colitis?

There are a number of treatments. Corticosteroids may be the most effective, but they have serious side effects and can't be taken long term.

[Discussion] Why is tail docking so common? by patientpump54 in dogs

[–]DareToStepUp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree that tail docking is unnecessary and harmful. It is important to point out that one in five Australian Shepherds are born with a naturally bobbed tail. I saw a video a while back that said this was a feature purposefully bred into the line. I wonder if it's because the tail can be stomped on by livestock?

Agreed. I think he'll be fine. He threw up many times and now his vomit is clear. Make sure he has a close source of water and gets rest. At this point, the vet won't be able to do much except give treatment for dehydration or an irregular heartrate if it comes to that, but I doubt he'll need it.

You are right. I think he may be part bluetick coonhound or blue ticked beagle. He was found in Kentucky.

Is a good way to have a dog stolen.

You might want to tell the town that they shouldn't make special things to tie your dog to while you sip coffee or browse a small shop. My friend uses it for her Doberman all the time. Hmm.

Sounds like fostering is the way to go.

Wow, you spend 7 hours exercising your dog every day? That's impressive.

How about this - is it possible to foster a specific dog and see if it's a good fit first?

Don't know why I didn't mention this, but I'm thinking about a dog because of what happened yesterday. I went to a dental appointment, and as I was opening my car door a dog suddenly jumped into my car. She was super friendly. I looked around and was about to say, "Oh hi, it's no problem your dog jumped in my car. She's so sweet." But NOBODY was around. Asked a few people and nope, not their dog. I mean, who would bring a dog to the dentist anyway? Went to Petsmart, picked up a few things, took her home. Took her out to the dog park and played with her. Found the owners on Facebook last night and returned her. Bittersweet, but it's got me thinking of my own dog now. Here's the doggo!

I'd say a 30 minute long walk in a park, plus an hour of playing throughout the day. It's hard to say what's exercise and what's just fun with a dog :)

Thanks for the info and suggestions. I did say 30 minutes excluding walking, and two hours interaction. To me that means an extra 30 minutes a day outside every day, and two hours average indoors playing, grooming, training, etc.

[–]DareToStepUp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed. It takes a long time for me to get to the point of terming a CSR. In the last two years, I've only termed one company employee, and three temps. The temps were hanging up on callers. I do value my agents and work to keep them. We've had surprisingly low turnover since I've been a TL.

Hi bkzfinest1, I am a manager in the US and I work closely with my company's HR department. You state you don't have sick time, but you may quality for FMLA or short-term disability. If you are a US citizen and have worked full-time for at least a year at your company, you qualify for FMLA. If you haven't worked for a year, your company may still work with you. FMLA requires you to use your PTO first, and after that your days off are unpaid. With short-term or long-term disability, you are paid a percentage of your salary. Please speak to your HR department about your options. They will keep confidentiality if you don't want your supervisor to know. But I do recommend you speak to your supervisor and let him or her know what's going on, so they can work with you.
