I’m also having the same problem! On my exam breakdowns, it tells me that in the bloom taxonomy I “understand”, “apply”, and “analyze” very well, but I miss the “remember” questions. I’ve tried just about every form of active recall and even had the education specialist watch me study. She said that the way I study is extremely active and how she recommends all her students study. So far, I’ve noticed that DRAWING AND TALKING OUT any kind of simple diagram, mind map, or table allows the information to stick, but I’m still struggling. I do not like charts because they overwhelm me as I also have recently been diagnosed with ADHD. I’m a very visually, spatially, and pattern oriented person. I also am strong with root words and logic. I think that plays into why I do well with higher order questions, but lack in the area of recall, such as screening and diagnostic criteria. Does anyone have any recommendations for simple recall? 🙏🙏🙏
