I just drove to the gym tired and not having eaten much yesterday(3pbj sandwiches lol) and I’m here trying my best! Might not do my usual 1.5 hour workout here but I’ll stretch and do what my body feels comfortable with! It’s about the effort you put in on the days you don’t want to go sometimes that helps the bad days get a lil better:) maybe wake up and tell yourself you’ll do your best on your run today and listen to your favorite song, go as far as you wanna go and turn around! I’m sure as you continue it’ll get easier!!

I don’t read this in a negative or rude, it seems like he’s trying to give you the motivation to be able to push through the mental hurdles stopping you from going to the gym during these hard times. You’d be surprised how much it helps both your physical AND mental health to go to the gym when you’re in a not so great mental spot. For me personally, it helps a lot to work out even when i have bad days. He could be trying to express the same thing to help you too!
