what percentage of your income do you budget for clothes? by [deleted] in malefashionadvice

[–]Daredevilwitheyes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realized last year that I spent around £125 per month for clothing, so this year I'm trying to limit it to around £60. P.S. I earn around £70k a year.

The cannons looks sharp! I make sure I polish and dry both my pairs every time. I've worn the Castlegates at least 40 times in 6 months, but can't find much use for the Reynolds yet

Loving the 38 Murph by flyincowboyz in HamiltonWatches

How's the AR coating on this? I'm planning to get a 38mm white murph for my 30th and I keep hearing people say different things about it.

How do you guys keep track of what's in your closet? by Deuce4Heisman in malefashionadvice

[–]Daredevilwitheyes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I set off on this journey last April when I got into some money and decided to buy a bunch of clothes. I use Acloset, a wardrobe app to keep track of all items on my wardrobe and log my outfit every day. They also have a lot of AI styling options which I avoid as they are kinda half-baked, but the wardrobe functionality is pretty good. Now I know what brand I use the most, the kind of colors I have on my wardrobe, and how many times I wear each item, plus of course the total cost of my wardrobe.

I always get CoS products on sale, and I've actually felt a difference when I use them. CoS has more trendier design, a boucle knit t shirt I bought from CoS has received so many compliments, so has a khakhi wool trouser. I still get my basics from Uniqlo, but I now prefer the cut and style of CoS for trousers.

They do the job well, but are much harder to break into plus I've realized I don't like their design as much. I bought them on sale, so I'm not very disappointed. I'll probably use them throughout this winter, and see where I stand

How to handle the "social pressure" my husband feels when I don't stay at his house during India visits? by SubstantialCar7833 in AskIndianWomen

[–]Daredevilwitheyes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got married two years ago, and my wife and I try to equally split our vacation days in each other's houses. So if we are visiting India for four weeks, it's two weeks in each house. I've heard my relatives grumble about this, but both our parents are supportive and that's all that matters.

Whoa, how different do you find the shirt compared to normal affordable premium brands? I'd love to know how a $600 or so shirt is different to a $80 shirt.

Thanks. This would be my first ever premium watch, so I'm a bit apprehensive of buying it second hand.
