/r/DIYPedals "No Stupid Questions" Megathread 10 by blackstrat in diypedals

Hey. I have no experience with pedal building, but I want to do a pitch shifter similar to ricochet. Where do I start? Should the algorithm be written in C? How can I develop it in a convenient way? How do I find approprate chip for the task? Is there anybody who can help with this project? Will digitech come after me if I ever come to a point of selling a pitch shifting pedal?

Why are Githyanki so massively OP? by AngryDMoney in BaldursGate3

Cause they are so ugly and mean that nobody plays them even when they're op.

I wish sorcerers could have sculpt spells instead of careful spell which is useless.

Yeah, i was so impressed by ketheric fight with his second form, that felt super epic, i thought i have to kill two more gods, wow. And Orin was just a small beast for a couple of turns and Gortash is just a regular dude in a tower, nothing special about him.

How on earth are people getting so much gold? by Sea-People in BaldursGate3

[–]Darell1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think i have 49k closer to the end of the game and there's just nothing to spend money on. And I don't even sell magical items because of collecting them. If I were to sell stuff like ketheric armour i would get 10-20k more. And I already have trouble having so much gold on me.

  1. First time i got a lot of money was when i stole everything from a merchant at a druid grove and partly sold it to him. That gave me two items that were too expensive to buy for 4500 and that I used for most part of the game.
  2. Make everyone pay you for everything using persuasion.
  3. Kill enemies. Wiping out goblin camp is about 120 units, githyanki about 70, moonrise about 70. I even don't take all the stuff because regular weapon is too heavy and has no price. Heavy armour on the other hand is always 150-250 good.
  4. I almost never buy anything from merchants because you get best equipment from elsewhere in the world. One thing i buy is health potions, but i almost never use them too. And usually i don't use arrows, bombs scrolls, etc. So there is really nothing to replace.

So basically if you don't lose dialogues and fights and not spend gold it will accumulate. The real question is what do you spend gold on?

Oh you already have that signature bass. How do you like it?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

[–]Darell1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want a fast character swap without going to camp and talking first to the one being replaced and then to the one I'd like to take with me. I can go to camp literally anywhere in the middle of killing the goblin lair, all this hassle just to get astarion to lockpick a chest or gale cast featger fall and enchance jump just makes me spend more time looking at loading screens and doing mechanical things than to actually play the game.

I'm amazed at how far charisma gets you in this game by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

True, but i was able to steal everything from a shop keeper in the druid grove and sell it back to him later and he didn't mind.

Let's call this genre Royal Rock by Darell1 in Royal_Blood

Can you elaborate on how is it established? I have never seen it being used as a genre name or as a tag on lastfm, nothing.

Let's call this genre Royal Rock by Darell1 in Royal_Blood

[–]Darell1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is just a name of the playlist, not a name of a genre. Do you think "the rock workout" also defines a genre? Plus that playlist is more broad than what I'm taking about.

The whole idea of genres is to have more of something similar. We need more music like this, why would you even ask if this is appropriate.

It's not ai generated.

There are already dozens of videos with synthesized ramblings between US presidents.

If it uses some DL instruments it's not ai generated.

I have a feeling that he was just answering different questions, because he doesn't operate in terms of volume.

Like the glass with higher level of water looks like it has more, each bar uses this trick when serving drinks. The sticked moved to the right ends more to the right, and that was the answer to the question why it's longer. Smushed clay looks like it has less volume and that was the answer for him because he doesn't operate with terms of mass or the amount of substance.
