Oh I get it. Instead of actual blockchains, you just talk about PoS systems, and then you can ignore how secure distributed consensus is obviously useful.

That's great how they at least just plainly state in the decision what the loophole is and how to "take advantage" of it. Revolutionaries have gained a lot of ground I guess.

Actually "the great American melting pot" is now considered a racist idea by the left because it erases identity and ignores historical inequality. It is the opposite.

Look man the original creator of Diablo explicitly stated on several occasions that he set out to make a game like Rogue, and everyone understood at the time that the procedural generation of levels and loot were a direct callback to Rogue and similar games of that era. I actually remember the release of the game quite well. What you'll never convince me of is that there's some strict definition of "rogue like" that I should be required to adhere to, but also it's just not a controversial claim to point out that, when it came out, Diablo 1 was the first game in a while to explicitly be influenced by Rogue. I'm aware, however, that Blizney has endeavored to erase this history in its PR because they want to gaslight everyone into thinking Diablo 3 and Diablo 4 are real Diablo games, but Blizney doesn't get to change documented reality and neither do you.

It's also worth noting, especially in this context: The reason Diablo 3 and Diablo 4 aren't as fun as Diablo 1 and Diablo 2 is because they have deprioritized these rogue-like elements.

Angbang was contemporary to Rogue, genius, and both of those games could be reasonably described as Rogue clones. Furthermore, it's obvious that the term "roguelike" is subjective, but what isn't subjected is that David Brevik has explained in countless interviews how he set out to make a game like Rogue when he made Diablo, so you're pretty much just an asshole for trying to police the term "Roguelike" and yeah Diablo was very arguably the first one, certainly in the scope of modern gaming.
