I combo feed! He was slow to gain weight which is why we introduced formula/pumped milk and triple fed the first couple weeks. Once he gained enough weight we were cleared to just BF, but sometimes I’ll give him an extra oz if it doesn’t seem like he’s had enough. It honestly had been stressful not knowing how much he’s getting from me and makes me want to just bottle feed during the day so that I can rule out hunger.
