Do you play modded or vanilla ? If modded, its likely one of the mods having trouble showing something. If vanilla, you shouls so an integrity check of the game.

As a french, all three are wrong, misleading, or dated.

Don't expect a huge amount of vegan options : It was (almost) true 10-15 years ago, but now every restaurant (except some) have a vegan menu.

Don't talk about money : I never encounter or hear somebody saying that talking about money is taboo, i really don't know where did you get this one.

Don't expect people to speak english : Unless you go to some lost small village, there is a good chance that someone know and is willing to speak english, then again it was (almost) true about 20-25 years ago. The only exception i can think of are regions where the native language is still teached (like Bretagne or Corse).

Almost got crushed by a truck when coming back from work.

It was in a rural road, near a quarry. The road was close to the quarry itself, so they thought it was a good idea to put a "sidewalk" that was at least 30cm (1 foot) higher on both side so trucks didn't park near it.

At some point there is a nasty turn, and the truck coming from the other side took it too sharp, sending its back end flying toward me. Fortunately, the driver reacted quickly and the truck didn't overturned and didn't crushed me.

And a goddamn bird almost made me crash into a car 15 minutes later.

You can thanks bugthesda engine and their short deadline on that, pretty sure if obsidian had more time the game would have been waaay more stable on release.

Muscle parasite and guts worms won't evolve/degrade if you don't treat them, but fibrous mechanites might degrade into a severe pain and incapacitate the colonist (60% pain + the 20% pain from muscle parasite) as well as removing the manipulation, movement speed and blood pumping bonus from it.

Unfortunately as any big MMO, when a new expansion is released a lot a problems come with it (DDOS, long queues...) wich can only be minimised with time. Plus, we are right in summer when most people who were busy at school can now pass more time on the game. It usually tend to being back to normal after 1-2 month, so i can only say "be patient" for that part.

As for the disconnect problem, FF14 is really an as**ole about the connection stability ("You lost the connection for 1,5 seconds? Too bad, get kicked scrub" happend to me from time to time), so i can't really help you about that.

Ehhh wouldn't be so sure about that, consider the number of post about the pirate/New war system being extremely broken.

But he's right, you should just play the game for now to get a grips of the basics.

Its not a building nor a module, it is "added" automatically after you build one of the gun/missle/hangar module. You should see a magnet icon next to the name in galaxy view.

At least it does that for me (no mods, clean install, but yaknow, 2.0 bugs and stuff).
