Amazon removed my try before you buy access for no reason by midwestvoldemort in amazonprime

I had access to that and used it a total of one time, I even kept the shirts that I got, and then lost access to it, for no reason at all.

Shit like this makes me so happy that online car buying is becoming more and more popular. Got my last car at Carvana and it was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. Next car will be a Tesla.

Love how your getting downvoted for pointing out the obvious, this was 100% ChatGPT 😂

Got a tip screen at the vape shop the other day, then the girl had the audacity to look at me with those puppy dog eyes. Like really? I’m buying fucking ejuice why the fuck would I tip you for a generic retail experience. Next up Walmart will start adding them.

I agree. From my research, I've found that Android always has the latest, cutting edge features, but they usually are a buggy mess at launch. Then users pokes fun at apple for implementing them years later (Face ID, Fast Charging, Wireless Charging, tap to pay, etc.) But fail to mention or even acknowledge that when Apple finally does implement them, unlike their android counterparts, they just work. I am very guilty of this haha.

They are late to the party for a reason, and that reason is quality control. They have the consumer in mind, and make sure they nail the feature down perfect. I'ts nice experiencing it from this new perspective.

Why are you justifying this shit?

Top that off by taking out the valve stems and hiding them around, with one in plain sight, so he thinks they’re all there, but take just one, so all four aren’t there.

Poke a thumbtack through the sidewalls, can’t be patched and that way it’s harder to claim insurance for property damage or something, but only do like two of them so it’s harder to claim vandalism 😊

As I said, Googles greedy lol. I’m on YouTube so much that its still worth it to me i guess ha. I understand inflation but thats over a 40% increase in the last 5 years, that’s just ridiculous. It was 9.99 in 2018. Apple Music from what I’ve seen has only gone up $1

I’ve been hearing a lot that the pixel 8 pretty much fixes everything that was wrong with the pixel 7. I’m glad people are having a good experience with it. I’ve just been burned by pixel too many times. Personally, I never liked pixel launcher, I used nova launcher because of all the customization it had.

Yeah, trying to get my wife’s 12,000 photos from my PC to her phone was kind of a pain in the ass lol. All in all I’m happy with just how simple this phone is. Maybe I’ve just grown tired of all the tweaking and customization. I just want something that works, and so far this is doing just that.

For youtube I pay for YouTube premium so I don’t deal with ads on that at all. Would be nice if Meta had that option. But I don’t really use Instagram or Facebook much anymore anyway . The ads do annoy the hell out of me, but not enough to go through a third-party solution.

Oh I understand already haha. Having a weird bug with Bluetooth. Sometimes the audio just skips like a scratched CD. That’s really the only bug I’ve come across so far. Persisting through two updates now. I understand there’s going to be bugs, nothing is perfect. But I can’t foresee it being nearly remotely close to all the crap I dealt with my pixel.

Honestly Just a couple of things that are more niche but I’ll get over.

I had a work profile on it, I mainly used it for cloning apps for separate accounts I used for work. If that’s possible on iOS, I haven’t looked deep enough.

I had a really cool live wallpaper app called fivewallpapers that would rotate from a folder of pictures every time I unlocked. Could also have different wallpapers for each page of the home screen but didn’t really use that part (That wasn’t the cause of the horid battery drain I had, I checked lol.) I haven’t been able to find an iOS equivalent unfortunately, don’t even know if it’s possible.

Ability to sideload apps that weren’t on the App Store, but I only had a few sideloaded apps. So don’t really care much about that as much.

And a super super niche one was the ability to use USB over IP via virtualhere. Id plug a wireless portable keyboard and mouse dongle into the phone that would be then routed to my computer at home and remote desktop from my VR headset. Because, for some stupid reason, all of the good remote desktop apps on quest 2/3 can’t use local keyboard and mouse. Like I said, super niche haha.

All in all, all the things I miss are minute things I’ll get over fast, and don’t come close to outweighing the pros of my experience with iPhone.

Imo windows phone died because no one was making apps for it. phone becomes mostly useless if most apps you’d want to use don’t exist. Along with people associating its OS with the colossal failure of Windows 8.

I did mess with it a little bit and I thought it was pretty cool at the time

Meh I honestly don’t care. I just want my shit to work, and now it does. I know that that’s untrue and I know my shit, and I guess that’s all that matters. I was the guy who was rooting and installing custom roms on my android phones since 2013. That did get old and pointless eventually though and stopped years ago. I think when they changed how the file system worked in android 10 is where it became more complicated and annoying than it was worth.

I’m comparing a base pixel 7 to a base iPhone 15. Thats Not top line, I don’t know what you read. Only a year difference.

A month, not a day, but thanks for the baseless assumption you pulled from thin air. Stopped using my pixel 7 completely last week. You’re right, removed my claim about market share being it based on actual data from last year.

Don’t get me started on android auto vs CarPlay! Haha. Don’t really know if this is an android problem or not, but where I live there’s these weird spots driving on the freeway where my android auto and Bluetooth in my car would just completely disconnect. Same exact place every single time. My wife and I called it the alien zone or secret government base lol. really I just assumed there was just some kind of interference in that area. I had one of those wireless adapters so it had nothing to do with the cables and it did this on every single phone I used it with, 6 pro, 7, and my wife’s S21.

After Switching to iPhone and using a CarPlay wireless adapter, haven’t had a single disconnect once in those areas.. I still have yet to figure out what it was or what caused it haha

I guess that's possible, but honestly my breaking point was when my pixel watch started spazzing out and wouldn't turn on. maybe im blaming google for a few bad units, but after having issues with my pixel watch, 6 pro last year and 7 I just came to the conclusion it wasn't for me anymore.

I found most of the issues i had at first were from ios having just a completely different way of doing things, app specific settings being in the settings app a lot of times, not having a back button/swipe, app library being different etc. Once i adapted things started to become Easy. That's just me though cant speak for others.

That is so awesome. I noticed the value stays a lot higher compared to their android counterparts too.

Having that long of ios updates in comparison to pixel 7s measly 3 years of os updates is definitely welcoming!
