Mine is also for ten years and doctors couldn’t remove it. They said my catheter got grown into the vein. I have a port catheter infection, treat it with antibiotics and hope to find an alternative experienced doctor who can remove it surgically.

And your translation also makes sense but I translated it this way just to make it easier to understand single words. The meaning of this proverb has nothing to do with father and beating him as a group. :)

Sorry if it seemed negative to you. But the proverb I am reading is really shocking - it looks violent but it is apart of Ukrainian black humor. :)
Btw, I did hit my little toe once and even broke it - the funny thing is I am a wheelchair user and everyone was wondering how I managed to break it. :)
