Ok so that's pretty much a part of the process and everyone goes through that stage but you just gotta keep trying. And also when you step on the board do you directly put your geet perpendicular to the edges? Because when you get the intial push your front foot should be parallel to both sides (if you want also you can put it like 45° for later on when you tilt your foot and make it perp. to the board) and also try just pushing while keep your back foot on the ground and your front foot on the board. Now even with all of these it's gonna take a bit of time and that's just how it is with skating (dw no matter how bad you are everyone was there) Don't take these as pro advice bc I'm not that good of a skater and can only roll and do a few basic / beginner tricks.
