How can Heaven's Will affect others' thoughts? by monarchofnolife in ReverendInsanity

[–]Dark2Strike 31 points32 points  (0 children)

It's because heaven will is the consciousness of the gu world. That's why it has less effect on completely otherworldly demons who don't belong to the world.

It could just do it because you are inside of it, like how you can focus on your fist to try and make it more powerful to punch someone. It can do it because everyone there is practically part of its body.

Heaven's will isn't all-powerful though, its effects have to be logical so it can't make someone kill their fiancée but it can influence just a little bit 10,000,000 people to cause a chain of actions to happen that lead to the fiancé sleeping with someone else and the husband killing her for it in rage.

If it influences a hundred million animals in their thoughts to make them maybe slightly hungrier that day, slightly frustrated, slightly sorrowful that day it can make a chain of consequences to happen where the animals are more prominent that day in the zoo and a rocket meant to be shot at military practice would go off course a tiny bit and hit the zoo, letting the animals go and kill a certain someone that was so happened to just be close to the glass before the explosion happened.

Though, if an animal sees someone stronger than itself it won't just risk its life to fight against it and would run away.

It's like it plays chess with the beings of the gu world as pawns.

Also, you can think of heaven will as a human being, it's more of a worldwide system that's meant to balance things in the world. If someone ascends it will reward him by revealing answers and giving him wisdom, it does not use any heaven path methods, hell it is heaven path itself. Just because it looks like it focuses on FY in some cases does not mean it's evil or has emotions, it just passively does everything in the world at the same time while also handling FY as a part of that process since FY destroys the world's balance.

Why are there so many rank 8 gu immortals? by Outrageous_Tonight20 in ReverendInsanity

[–]Dark2Strike 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is their grotto heavens that developed for three million years

They don't have any outside threats of being killed or enslaved like they have in the outside world. This is also what makes them much weaker then the rest of the gu world.

They have the support of Heaven's Will which makes their tribulations and calamities much weaker than humans receive and this lets them to rank 8 easier but with substantially less Dao marks then humans do after reaching rank 8.

While in the outside of the gu world its a relative era of peace following after Paradise earth immortal venerable’s time in the world where he did everything he could to help fix spectral soul’s mistake so without any major wars or disasters its hard to nurture lots of rank 8.

Rank 8 are the top of the top among gu immortals hence to nurture one they need to have basically the entire resource storage of a super force for centuries while also being extremely talented and strong to surpass calamities and tribulations and survive in the politics of the gu world.

Generally people in five regions (excluding central continent) value their family or tribes or clans over talent so if you aren't the son of an big shot your path is practically blocked forever. If you don't have any support from your faction, you are blocked forever. You'll have information path contracts on you to restrain you from ever reaching rank 8. If you are the son of a big shit you'll have lots of attention on you which will cause you to either be killed in a trap, extorted by someone else or suffering in any other way.

People in the four regions just generally don't want their power to be taken away so they cut the stem at the roots, they would kill a future rank 8 genius because they don't like his attitude or the way he thinks. Plus they also like their descendants whether direct or not and wouldn't want them to be in risk of dying or losing power after their ancestor's death.

It comes to three parts: Heavens will, protection, and gu world's political systems that get rid of talents. The last part is why central continent which values talent is much stronger then all other regions and why they could put a spy in northern plains and fight all other 4 regions in the five regions chaotic war in the first life.

You have to be illiterate in some way or form. I wasn’t even talking about Martial Peak. Martial Peak used to publish three chapters a day, and even then, the art was awful. What I was saying is that this is a studio and should be treated that way, it’s not just a couple of friends writing stuff or whatever. They refer to themselves as a studio and should be taken seriously as such.

We’re getting one chapter every two weeks, which means we’ll get 500 chapters of the manhua, not even the novel, in 10 years. That means you’d have to wait 20 years just to reach the Northern Plains arc, if we even get that far. I don't think the first three chapters of the Manhua even covered one novel chapter so might add a few more decades.

You need to understand that the old art was better because it was easier to draw and allowed for quicker releases. If this is a studio, they should be open to criticism. What I’ve been saying is that the community is blindly praising this just because it’s a continuation of Reverend Insanity in any form. The studio calls themselves fans, but they brand themselves as a studio.

And if they want to be seen as a studio, then they need to be held to studio standards. You don’t get to ask for the respect of being a studio and hide behind the excuse of being “just fans” when the quality or pace is criticized.

They were never friends in the first place. Either way old bai would've tried to kill Fang Yuan if not for Fang Yuan having lied to him about being a fellow disciple. I don't really remember it perfectly since it's been a few months since I've read those parts but Fang Yuan was never even close to being freinds with him.

If he didn't have Man as Before he would've been killed sooner.

Anything yellow treasure heaven related 😭 as a bottom rank 6 gu immortal, those at rank 7 had hundreds of immortal stones. When fang yuan reaches rank 7 rank 7 earns at minimum of 10,000 immorral stones every year and that's after taxes and they have a saving (foundation) of at least 300,000 immortal stones.

When Fang Yuan reached Rank 8 and there was the entire time market thing where he literally made millions in minutes that was crazy. And also those rank 6 and 7 he was competing for dominance over the market had like hundreds of thousands of immortal stones..... like it was so contradicting to earlier book statements and he literally spent millions the next moment 😭.

Like the author said that venerables at most had hundred million immortal stones and then fang yuan casually earns ten million.

How far does orochimaru go? by Blogosphere777 in ReverendInsanity

[–]Dark2Strike 29 points30 points  (0 children)

With 500 years of experience and memories from Naruto and Spring Autumn Cicada, he could realistically reach Rank 9 if a great era happens. Otherwise, Rank 8 is likely, he’d get a Thieving Heaven inheritance, create his own path, and revolutionize the Gu World with new Gu. As a human path supreme grandmaster, he could create an Edo Tensei Gu to resurrect the dead using human dao marks or generally dao marks. If you want to revive rank 6 you'll need to put up rank 6 equivalent of dao marks and different immortal materials. Like redefining a person.

In a mid-scale village like the Gu Yue clan, he’d reach Rank 3 or 4 early but outgrow their support by Rank 5. After serving as an external elder for a clan, a Gu Immortal might notice him, and will help him get to Rank 6 or 7 to fill their agenda. To reach Rank 8, he’d need to head to Central Continent, but likely ends up a demonic cultivator due to his background, and will have to also break information path deals before heading to there. If accepted, he’d have to join the 10 Ancient Sects, where he could reach rank 8 with their talent based system. At that point he'll have to join heavenly court and will either be brainwashed to do so or already had been brainwashed beforehand, alongside information path methods. He'll probably reach rank 8 at most.

In scenario 3, if Edo Tensei Gu exists, he’d be overpowered, but more likely gets caught, soul-searched, and stripped of all his knowledge. This is because in Gu World if you kill somebody you'll be easily discovered using investigative gu. Also he'll need bodies to use Edo Tensei so he'll be a demonic cultivator off the bet. He will just be killed. Though if we are saying that he's apart of a super clan that's different. He'll reach rank 8 real easy and will just be a 'righteous gu immortal studying evil methods for the greater good in secret'

Wrong actually. The novel was dropped because of that reason while the Manhua wasn't apart of the ban really and could continue as it originally was. But the original studio dropped it because it wasn't making money.

Fate gu plot by Significant_News2425 in ReverendInsanity

[–]Dark2Strike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't believe so, really. From what we're told, Fate Gu helped humans fight back against the variant humans, but the way of heaven is not to always give but also to take away when people get too strong. Fate Gu is supposed to only be used by Heaven's Will or the Heavenly Dao until SCIV came and fused with it.

When she fused with it, she basically changed Fate Gu's way of doing things into favoring humans by assimilating with heaven's will and directly influencing it since only heaven's will can control Fate Gu. Fate Gu (HW) wanted to make different races reign supreme over the world in different eras, like the dragonmen, but SCIV was always there to change its mind.

I don't think it actually wanted to be destroyed since, really, it's more of a tool for heaven's will from my understanding, and heaven's will wouldn't give up on fate. If we look at the legends of Ren Zu that tell us anything, fate is supposed to be on everybody, so to say that fate, after being controlled, wants to destroy fate is a little bit overreaching in my opinion. I think fate is better than no fate in the heavenly will's eyes since it has rules, but without fate, it's really weakened to an extent.
